Summary: Two years after the battle at the Anteiku cafe, district 20, everything seems to be back to its original trajectory. CCG opens a project to research new ways of dealing with cannibals. Quinxces – the group of inspectors set up by CCG experimented with implanting Kakuhou into humans as a biological weapon, creating Kagune to fight the cannibals instead of using Quinque as before.
